A Few Customer Reviews

A hard look at a hard topic

Do you believe in a god who could order you to kill your blood relative? If so, you will probably hate this book. Everyone else, probably 99% (I hope) of the population is repelled by the murder of a woman and her child detailed in Krakauer's book.

unbelievable

I recommend this book to almost every person I meet. great writing, fascinating details, objective voice. seemed exceptionally balanced and fair-- I loved it. couldn't put it down.

An informative look at religion

I am not an overtly or specifically religious person and after reading this book I am grateful for this attribute. It is a truly fascinating bit of history that really makes you question not just Mormon religion... but all religion (Scientology as well!).
