A Few Customer Reviews

Michael McShane's Narration Stinks

Others have written reviews of the book. I'll keep my comments to the narration. Michael McShane's performance is TERRIBLE. He constantly sounds out of breathe. His cadence is wooden. His Spanish pronunciation is terrible. His accents are atrocious.

Dale Brown Up to His Usual.

Dale Brown has created a legion of followers who like the way he tells stories that are sort of military-techno thrillers, sort of an outlandish projection of the future based on what's hot in the news at the time. And at this time, illegal immigration is getting a lot of attention from the politicos running for office, and this is the theme of this new book.

I'm over the age of 13, but...

...if YOU are, you might want to skip this book. I love military techno-thrillers, but this isn't one. The dialogue belongs in a comic book, the characters are poorly developed, and while I don't mind a meaningful sex scene that lends something to the story, the ones in this book are sophomoric and gratuitous. Dale brown had a few good books in him, but that was yesteryear. What's that old saying about a bunch of monkeys pounding on a typewriter?
